My name is Maude Rowe, I am an artist from Apex, North Carolina, currently in my second year at ECU studying for my BFA in Textiles. I primarily works in textiles, drawing, and painting, with a focus on contrast, value, emotion, and tension. My work has been shown in multiple art spaces and galleries, spanning from ECU’s Gray Gallery to a PJAS Digital Publication. I even won Dean’s Choice Award for a piece completed during my first semester at WTCC in 2023. I am currently developing his senior thesis in textiles, largely focusing on resist dyeing, the knitting machine, and am beginning to even venture into three-dimensional works as his body of work progresses.
